On Wednesday, Oct. 26, Thomas Dale High School juniors will attend a special ring ceremony during 1st block and Enrichment.
During the ceremony, juniors will have their rings “knighted” to them by their class officers.
The ceremony will begin with a presentation of colors by JROTC before junior class historian Abby Sloan says the pledge of allegiance.
Pam Lumsden, principal of Thomas Dale High School, will welcome everyone attending, and Jay Roundabush of the Herff Jones Company will explain the meaning of the ring.
Class remarks will be given by junior class presidents Chandler Callaham and Taiana James. Then rings will be presented to each student by vice-president Maddie Lenz, treasurer Akayla Hines, secretary Makayla Callender, and council member Deanndra Richards. Finally, junior council member Jalen Daniely will give the ceremony’s closing remarks.
