For it’s spring production, the Thomas Dale High School Theater Department will be performing Naomi Iizuka’s Anon(ymous). Performance days include May 3, 4, and 5 starting at 7 p.m. in the main campus large auditorium.

The play is a re-imagining of Homer’s Greek epic, The Odyssey. While traveling by boat to the U.S. with his mother, a young man named Anon is separated from her when a storm hits their boat. The play tells of Anon and his mother’s travels. Through the people they meet, both friendly and hostile, and through their experiences, their lives are changed forever.

“This story is not about how the present you changes through ordinary events,” Morgan Payne, a freshman performing in the show, said. “It’s about what you were, how you were before an extraordinary event changed you.”

Ticket prices for the show are $8. For more information and to purchase tickets online go to https://www.tdhsanonymous.brownpapertickets.com.
