SPECIAL : CAT FOOD & LITTER DRIVE

20190105_134620

Smitty’s Cat Rescue Shelter is doing a cat food drive and litter drive because of the government shutdown. Even though the government has reopened, it will take a while for people to get back on their feet so the drive will stay open for a couple weeks longer to a month.

Because of the shutdown, a lot of animals have suffered. Their families couldn’t afford to feed them or give them proper care. So, Lynne at Smitty’s Cat Rescue have opened a drive that will last this month even after the reopening.

If you have a parent that works in the government and needs cat food or litter, tell them to show up to Smitty’s with identification that they work for the government, and then they will get free food and litter.

The address is 13530 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Chester, VA 23831

Or you could call them at 804-691-0475. Thank you!
