Young Adult author Maggie Thrash will be at the Main Campus library on March 5th during Enrichment! Both the Main and West Libraries have order forms for her books and to come to hear her speak. Space is limited so you’ll need a special pass from the librarians.

Let your voice be heard. Nominate your favorite book for The Great Chesterfield Read in English class!

Talent Show

Thomas Dale HAS Talent! The Annual TDHS Talent Show auditions will be held on February 27 from 6 to 7:30 pm and on March 11 from 3:15 to 5 pm in the Main Campus Large Auditorium. You must audition to participate in the show! Please bring music, stage props and any other needed items to the audition. The talent show will be held on Friday, March 29 @ 7 pm.


Bring in canned foods and other non-perishable products to your first period class through the month of March to help feed our community.  The AP Club will help by collecting the cans each Friday.  The class with the most cans will win a donut breakfast. For further information please contact Mr. Keller in room W1.

The School Counseling Department is hosting its annual College Symposium on Thursday, February 28th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Main Campus. Admissions professionals from Longwood, VCU, VA State University, Old Dominion University, Virginia Tech, John Tyler Community College, Christopher Newport University, and our scholarship (GRASP) representative

Mrs. Donna Millhouse will discuss topics surrounding The College Search and Visit, The Application Process, Admissions Lingo, 2+2 Option, Financial Aid and other scholarship opportunities. The program will begin in smaller classroom settings where you will be able to ask college reps questions and get answers in real time
