We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But if the drop was not in the ocean, I think the ocean would be less because of the missing drop.
This Saturday, March 2, will be a school clean-up day from 9 to 11 o’clock. Students meet at Door 2 at Main campus.
If you are a current 11th grader interested in representing Thomas Dale this summer for Girls or Boys State, please drop by the School Counseling office to pick up an application or see Mr. Winn for more information. This is a great leadership program to add to your resume. The students who are selected for these programs will attend Girls State at Longwood University and Boys State at Radford University during the week of June 16 – 22, 2019.
Ryan’s Bridge meets today in the Main Campus Commons at 3:05. Come join us!
Young Adult author Maggie Thrash will be at the Main Campus library on March 5 during Enrichment! Both the Main and West Libraries have order forms for her books and to come to hear her speak. Space is limited so you’ll need a special pass from the librarians.
Let your voice be heard. Nominate your favorite book for The Great Chesterfield Read in English class!
Thomas Dale is once again competing in the Feed More canned food drive with other schools in our area. We came close to winning last year, so let’s not let Matoaca and Bird beat us again.
Bring in canned foods and other non-perishable products to your first period class through the month of March to help feed our community. The AP Club will help by collecting the cans each Friday. The class with the most cans will win a donut breakfast. For further information please contact Mr. Keller in West 1.
Throwback Thursday: Dale student celebrates International Talk Like a Pirate Day in the Main Campus Library on September 19, 2018. ARGH!
