The KnightingGales, one of the many choir groups at Dale, took the stage by storm in both black and pink at the Pyramid Concert alongside multiple other performance groups.
‘The Pyramid Concert, to me, was an opportunity to showcase the joy of being in show choir,” said sophomore, Kelsey Daniels.
Despite putting on an incredible performance, the Gales still felt as if they could have pushed a little harder.
“I feel like everyone in show choir is so hard on themselves when it comes to how we do,” said sophomore, Morgan Payne. “It wasn’t the best we could’ve done but considering it was our first time performing in front of a huge audience, I could say we did really well!”
The Gales had been rehearsing and preparing for the Pyramid Concert since late August, spending long hours to learn both the choreography and the music itself.
“Even with all the practice, I still didn’t feel ready that night. Maybe it was the jitters, but of course, that all changed the moment I got on stage!” said Daniels. “My favorite part of the night hands down would have been hearing the crowd going crazy after we’d finish our show. All of our hard work since August had paid off.”
