If you are a current 11th grader interested in representing Thomas Dale this summer for Girls or Boys State, please drop by the School Counseling office to pick up an application or see Mr. Winn for more information.

This is a great leadership program to add to your resume’. The students who are selected for these programs will attend Girls State at Longwood University and Boys State at Radford University during the week of June 16 – 22, 2019.

It’s Teen Tech Week! Check out tech titles in the library. Celebrate on Thursday during enrichment by playing retro video games and programming robots in the main campus library. Play Pac-Man, Pong, Asteroids, and more. Control BB-8, program WALL-E, and use your Chromebook to program an Ozobot. Visit the library for a pass!

Attention Science Club Members!  Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 5th  at 3:10 in room 403 at the main campus. We will have a March Madness STEAM Challenge.

Full Spectrum, performances choreographed and produced by the Specialty Center Dance Company Senior Class of 2019, will be held on Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, in the Main Campus Auditorium.

Sophomores and Juniors, if you are planning on applying to an art college, visit room 607 for portfolio prep on Thursday morning March 7th  during Enrichment.

Work with Visual Arts Specialty Center seniors to research school guidelines, prepare your portfolio, and get advice from seniors currently going through the process. Get a pass for enrichment from Mr. Harper in room 607 to attend.

AP fee collection continues today in the Commons during all lunches on Main Campus.  Order online, using your class’ google classroom. Then bring the fee to Mr. Cook during any lunch through next Thursday, March 7.
