TDHS Baseball Hungry to Return to States in 2019

The Knights look to improve on their stellar season last year when they reached states for the first time in school history.

They have opened up the year with an overall record of 6-1 and have been fortunate enough to have Karson Jennings on the mound; the senior pitcher has been dominating all year thus far.

The young 2021 bat of Johnny Oates has been hot of late too and has helped boost this years offense.

The Knights lost eight seniors this year and some key bats, but this year’s team has depth, and everyone is ready to go when their name is called.

Watch for 2021 Camden Weston in the middle; he has been a cons factor in the Knights production offensively and defensively.

This year the Knights are a much younger team, but with return of 2020 catcher Cole Garret (VMI) and 2020 shortstop Ralphy Rodriguez (Norfolk State) in the middle of the lineup, the Knights will be bringing back some serious power.

The Knights are hungry and ready to return back to states this year and finish what they started. This team has the potential to do that and are going to continue to grind out games and get wins.
